A Table to Toast
Chestnut Hall designers Stacy McSpadden and Lana Zepponi partnered to create a table centerpiece for A Table to Toast, a luncheon to benefit Camp Love & Learn. The event at the Memphis Botanic Garden was a hit, selling out and showcasing tabletops by area designers. Susan Ferrier was the featured speaker and signed her book Art of the House, co-authored with Bobby McAlpine.
Stacy and Lana used oversized modern, rustic candle sticks to create impact on the table, intermingled with glass vases that double as candle holders when you flip them over. We always love a piece that can do double duty! The designers played with height and scale and submerged orchid stems in water, creating an otherworldly floral design, as the orchids are magnified through the water and glass.
Cheers to designing for a good cause! To find out more about Madonna Circle and Camp Love & Learn, click here.
